Our history

 

We began our mission in October 2007 in Zapotlán el Grande, Jalisco. With the goal to tackle the necessities of our society where children are abused, mainly focused on the minors of the Zona Sur de Jalisco. Organization was founded by Judith Betzabeth De la Vara Bustamante who for many years has volunteered in different institutions that work with children in Sonora and Jalisco. 

 

Together with first 6 minors we stayed in Zapotlán el Grande for 7 months. In March 2008 God blessed us with our new house in Sayula, Jalisco where we had to begin our journey from scratch. At the same time, Ramón Angel De la Vara B. Y Lucero Landeros Cervantes have joined our team to support our mission. And that is how, little by little, more minors have come to the house, more donors, companies, schools have joined in order to strengthen our project.

 

In 2009, Ramón Angel De la Vara L. y Esther Maria Bustamante have joined our house to devote their time and energy to the family. Just like that the mission has been growing and in 12 years of our existence we have helped 130 boys and young people. Some of them have found home in new families, others have come back to their biological families and others still remain in Casa Hogar Mi Pequeña Familia.
